Review
Our life XP stands for "Our Experience in Life" and I would consider it a well thought title for a weblog that updates people about the daily happenings in our lives. This is a Wordpress based blog containing information from current affairs to technology news and using a customized template "Minim8 theme" by Phu Ly. It has quite some interesting articles & news which hold your interest and makes you want to read all of them. All the topics are well categorized and put under different sub-headings. The Blog provides its users with a RSS feed to keep track of all the latest posts, which is a popular feature in most of the weblogs today.
A Flash games section and a Yoga section are also included in the weblog for the user's enjoyment, which I would call a plus point. There is a Search utility to look for topics in the blog and I also noticed that this blog is being linked from a lot of other blogs on the internet.(Good for getting backlinks and traffic). The Blog seems to be in existence from July 2005 which is almost a period of 10 months and can be considered as a fairly new blog.
Graphically, the blog theme is pretty and simplistic in detail. The font size is readable and crisp enough. The various advertisements on the right column seem to be dumped in one place and they can be arranged for better graphical appeal. The google ads placement is clever and should be earning for the webmaster. Since the weblog does not have many images or flash components, the loading time is less. Overall, the weblog appears smooth on both IE an Firefox.
If we look at the popularity of the blog, it seems to be doing well in that area too. It has an average google rank of 4 which should increase by the next google update. The Alexa rankings do not seem to be so good, but should improve over time. Getting more backlinks should be the prime aim in order to get good search engine rankings.
Concludingly, Our Life XP is a nice place to be and to spend your free time entertaining yourself.
